trends we noticed during NYFW

Last week was our favourite time of year - NYFW!

We love getting to see what is going to be up and coming for the season ahead, and we always want to share it with you!

There are some trends still carrying over from last season, but there are a few new ones that threw us for a bit of a loop!

Spring ‘24 seems to have a softer, more romantic vibe to the season — and we are into it!

We cannot wait to see how thrse trends play out, and start to play around with them as the season approaches.

liquid gold

Silver, step aside — because gold is coming in hot this upcoming spring season! Metallic gold has been seen all over the runways this NYFW much like how silver was everywhere last season. We are into it!

capris

This one took us a bit by surprise… but nonetheless capris will be making a comeback in the spring season! We are excited to see how this trend unfolds.

bows, bows and more bows!

Bows have been having their moment for a couple of seasons now, but it looks like they are here to stay a little bit longer! Whether they are big statement bows, or a bunch of little ones, you can expect to continue to see them in the spring.

sheer details

sheer detailing keeps creeping its way into every season lately! Whether it is a completely sheer dress, or little sheer cutouts, you are bound to see this trend a lot more!

rosettes

Rosettes and floral appliqués really took off last spring and are still here to stay for spring ‘24! It is hard not to love this trend, they just make any outfit look THAT much cooler!

and of course, red

Yes, red is still going to be around next year! This colour is having a big chokehold on the fashion world recently, but we can’t complain — we are obsessed with it!
