The 5 Essential Pieces You Need to Bring to NYC This Fall Season

Hello everyone! Erin here :)

If you followed along with Elizabeth’s Instagram takeover last Friday, you would have heard the news that a few of us are heading to NYC for the weekend, and we couldn’t be more pumped! We are going for less than 72 hours, and somehow we are all stressed on what to pack, LOL!

Which in turn gave me an idea for this week’s blog! I am going to break down the top 5 essential pieces to pack with you if you are planning on visiting NYC this fall, or another city that’s similar.

As usual, all links will be in the title of the item!

Let’s get into it :)

I would say it is almost mandatory to wear a New York Yankees cap in NYC! I know some of you might think it makes you look like a tourist, but in reality it doesn’t since so many of the locals support the team! So this cap might make you look more like a local than you think ;)

A good black leather belt like this one from Aritzia with the statement gold hardware is the only belt you would need on your entire trip! It literally goes with everything and makes your entire outfit look, and feel a bit more luxe.

An oversized blazer is a must have item to bring to NYC. It can easily be dressed up, or down depending on how you want to style it! It is a classic, and you simply cannot go wrong with it. Plus, it is called the Vogue blazer — it couldn’t be more fitting! ;)

With all of the walking you will be doing across the city, you are going to need some comfy shoes — but obviously you still want them to be cool! These New Balance 725’s are the big sister to the 530’s. They feel like pillows on your feet, but will add a really fun edge to any of your day outfits! You can pair these with the oversized blazer, mid wash jeans and a white tee!

And of course to top it all off, you have to complete your outfit with a fun pair of sunnies! Whether you want more of a chic pair, or a statement piece like these, they will add the finishing touch to any outfit!
