5 Upcoming Fall 2024 Trends That You Should Look Out For

Although we are just entering summer, it is already that time of the year when fall fashion trends are starting to surface and be showcased all over the runways from Miu Miu to Burberry, and every luxury brand in between.

But don’t stress too much yet — you can still enjoy your summer, but we want you to be ahead of the fashion game and keep in mind what will be trending come September.

So to keep it simple, we are going to be discussing 5 upcoming fall 2024 trends that you are going to want to look out for. We have been seeing a ton of edgy fashion approaches to the runways, and we cannot wait to see how they translate into everyday wear for the autumn season.

There is a lot of exciting stuff to dive into this week, so let’s get into it :)

Head - to - Toe Leather

In case you missed last week’s trend report on Instagram, we discussed how head - to - toe leather is going to dominate the fashion scene this fall season. Head - to - toe leather was usually seen as a faux pas, however that rule is going to be broken this season!

Brands like Mugler, Maison Margiela and Chanel were just a few of the brands that highlighted this trend on their F/W’24 runways.

Olive Green

This beautiful earthy tone is already slowly making its way into the fashion world by being a subtle yet striking trending colour. Burgundy will still be a trending colour this fall, however olive green is most definitely going to be at the forefront as well.

Gucci, Chloe and Saint Laurent were just a few of luxury brands that showcased this beautiful colour in their recent shows.

Textured Coats

Feathers, fringe, and woven designs were heavily featured on the F/W’24 runways this season, as seen in the collections of Tory Burch, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen and more.

We often see coats and jackets in the fabric of tweed or wool for the colder months, however designers have most certainly had more fun with their outwear pieces for the upcoming season — and we are pretty pumped for it.

Plaid

Plaid has always been a traditional pattern that tends to resurface around the holiday months — however it seems that this time around, the pattern is going to be more wearable for everyday, instead of mainly being used for holiday wear. We will likely see this pattern on outerwear, sweaters and various bottoms.

And of course, Burberry had their staple plaid all over their runway this season, as well as Loewe and Acne Studios.

Faux Fur

The “Mob Wife” aesthetic is here to stay for the colder months as faux fur is back! This trend just screams rich and luxurious and we cannot wait to see everyone rocking their faux fur coats when the temperature starts to drop.

Some brands that embraced the faux fur coats on their runways were Loewe, Burberry and Miu Miu.
